TIPS and IDEAS.....

Non-skid shelf liner has many uses!!!
*Place under cutting board to stop the sliding.
*It's also great to place under cakes and casseroles when you place them into a box to transport to a school or holiday function.
*Cut into rectangle strips and glue to bottom of area rugs to stop their sliding.
*Use it in your workshop to keep wood from sliding around on the workbench while routing or sanding.
*put under the electronics on the shelf in the TV cabinet.
*cut into squares and use to open lids on jars.

More Tips and Ideas!!!!!

**Drinking room temperature water is better than cold water.  Cold water does not help digest food all that well.  It congeals it!  Ugh....

Trina: Keep all of your plastic lids. They are very handy to place under furniture when moving it around. They are slick so furniture will glide easily even on carpet and they will protect your wood or vinyl floors.

Heidi - Tired of trying to clean the margarine or shortening out of the measuring cup after you use it? I am! But I discovered a trick today. If your recipe calls for an egg(s), crack the egg into the measuring cup you are going to use for measuring the margarine or shortening. Pour the egg into your mixing bowl. Using the same measuring cup, the egg was in, measure out the margarine or shortening. You will be surprised at how easily the margarine or shortening comes out leaving behind no greasy globs of shortening or margarine.

Mindy - We use pine cones covered in melted wax from candles too small to do anything with, and use them as "firestarters" at our camp to help get the campfire going...works great.

 PEOPLE PATTY KNOWS

Marie Seibel – Feed the Need Program
Johnson County Wastewater is collecting gently used handbags to be sold to benefit the food pantries in Johnson Count, Ks through the "Feed the Need" Program.  Last year we made over $600 on the purses we collected. Last year we had a number of designer bags including Coach.   If you have handbags, duffels, wallets, or any other leather (or leather-like) bag you would like to donate, either let Patty know.  I'll be happy to pick them up.  We hope to have a sale at the Sunset Building in Olathe (11811 S. Sunset Drive) in early December and well as at the FTN event held each year in June.  If you would like to be invited to either of these events, please include your e-mail address.   Please pass this along to everyone you know who might be able to help.   Thanks.

Buffalo Chicken Dip – Shawn Tesmer

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup blue cheese salad dressing

1/2 cup Frank's® RedHot® Buffalo Wing Sauce

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or shredded mozzarella cheese

2 (9.75 ounce) cans Swanson® Premium Chunk Chicken Breast in Water, drained

This is the basic Recipe.  I used Cheddar Cheese in mine, but I think it’s whatever you have or want to use.   I would say for this recipe above, that 3 Boneless Chicken Breast Halves would work.

Directions:

Basically what I did was put the Wing Sauce, Cream Cheese and Blue cheese in a crock pot and turned it on high.  In the mean time I cooked the chicken breast.  You can either shred the chicken, or use a food chopper which will get it into smaller pieces chunks yet.  After it’s cooked and shredded, put the chicken into the mixture, and add the shredded cheese.  Stir it up and heat until its hot, then put it on warm.  If it is too dry, add a little more Hot Sauce and Blue cheese until it’s a consistency that you prefer. - Shawn
